Welcome to the Alice ISD 2019 Bond Program website. On May 4, 2019, the voters of Alice ISD (AISD) approved a referendum for broad sweeping improvements to AISD schools. The $20,790,000 program will address capacity challenges districtwide and enable the district to achieve better utilization of existing facilities. Further, the program will enable the District to address ongoing roofing issues at Alice High School. This website has been designed to provide the community with regular updates of the program's progress. Check back regularly for updates!
Additions Projects Completed
School started as planned at William Adams, Dubose, Noonan Saenze & Shallert in the fall of 2021. Contractors have addressed almost all of the punch list issues, and have provided warranty administration since the schools opened. The elementary campuses are now serving Pre-K, and students at Nonnan, Saenz and Shallert students are enjoying their new spacious gyms.
High School Roofing Project Generally Complete
In spite of weather challenges and a variety of unforseen conditions, replacement of large portions of the high school roof is generally complete. The effort involved a coordinated effort with the contractor, campus leadership, teachers and district maintenance personnel. The contractor is working on close out document and addressing warranty issues as they arise. The photos below illustrate befor and after conditions.
